This latest announcement from the NYSGC is the final step in a long process in getting NY sports betting apps up and running.
Recently, the regulatory body also refined its list of jobs and professions that would still be banned from betting on sports in the state. Those roles included athletes, coaches and players among other positions working in sports.
The New York banned bettor list also includes people working not directly for the teams and leagues themselves, like agents.
